Floyd Dell’s “Enigma” is Canopy’s first foray into audio drama. Originally written in 1915, it is perhaps even more relevant today than when it was written. A tale of a married couple, who after many years of slights, find themselves caught in the middle one of those timeless riddles of relationship. That difficult dance of deciding whether to let each other go, or give their love one more chance. An enigma indeed.
Helen is read by Frieda Jacobowitz and Paul is read by Matt Piercy. The play was directed by George Hansel, audio technique by Oscar Ramspek. Enjoy!
