Before placing a Tooth filling, the dentist uses a local anaesthetic injection to numb the gums surrounding the injured tooth. After the area has been numbed, the afflicted tooth is examined. Based on the total amount of tooth decay or damage, the cavity filling is chosen. If tooth decay is present, the tooth has been washed, dried, and cleaned after the afflicted sections of the teeth have been removed. After the tooth has been repaired in its initial form, filling material is then placed in the damaged area. To determine whether the composite tooth filling is pleasant, a patient is asked to bite awkwardly.
