This episode is a special in it’s own right. We decided it was time for a new site that could truly serve as a backup to our podcast. Forum-member and tech savvy Hedz, who has multiple years of experience in programming, was more than happy to step up for the task when I asked him. The result speaks for itself :). Coincedentally, he was scheduled for a mix this week as well! So in a way, you could call this a “Website Launch Special”, where the web designer steps up with his mix to show off both his coding as his mixing abilities.
Hedz himself: “About my mix, I’ve to say I didn’t have to work on it too long, because the process of putting it all together went surprisingly smooth and easy! I traced an objective for myself at the beginning; To play music I personally loved and still tried to grab you, the listener, into my mix. I think it was really successful! I’ve started with some emotional simultaneously groovy sounds and some special edits of mine, then I went to some big sounds and to top if off, I’ve played my latest favorites on the Deep and Tech House field. This mix shows my influences, as well as the music I enjoy and what I could deliver in actual livesets.”
