Technology has become invaluable to many older adults. In addition to social media apps which can help us stay connected to family and friends around the world, technology can be used to improve health and wellbeing, express creativity, and monitor serious mental illness. Ramesh Rao, PhD, hosts Tom Kamber and Eric Granholm, PhD, to discuss how we can harness the power of technology to change the way that we age with the use of smartphone apps, virtual reality, neurofeedback, robotics, and more. They also present free programs and organizations to train seniors how to use and gain access to technology, as well as engage with other seniors.
