Appalachian Sound and Color sets out to interview and understand artists, musicians, writers, and makers living in Appalachia. ASC's light hearted interview style does not strictly focus on each maker's creative process, but rather their upbringing in Appalachia and how that steered them to create. The podcast also asks why each artist chose to stay and create here. ASC is an offspring of Clientele Art Studio located in Wheeling, WV and is hosted by Logan Schmitt and William Wallace. It is produced by Corey Knollinger who is also a part-time host. The intro and outro music was provided by Wheeling, WV band The Pussyfooters.
