Chronological aging is the length of time that you have been alive and began the moment you were born. Biological aging refers to the normal degradation of cells, tissues and organs that occurs as a result of the passage of time. Successful aging is aging free from disease and with optimal levels of cognitive and physical function. This Quick Fit Tip explains the role that exercise plays in achieving successful aging.
