Igor Stravinsky is considered one of the most influential composers of the 20th century, in no small part indebted to his three groundbreaking ballets - The Firebird, Petrushka, and The Rite of Spring. These pieces were made possible by Russian artistic visionary Sergei Diaghilev, and his ballet company known as the Ballet Russes.
