Lex Frieden, MA, LLD (hon) is a professor at UT Health School of Biomedical Informatics and directs the Independent Living Research Utilization program at The Institute for Rehabilitation and Research at Memorial Hermann. He is best known as being one of the architects of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA). July 26, 2022, was the 32nd anniversary of this landmark legislation.
