Dr. Faith Dukes is the manager of K-12 STEM education and outreach programs at the Berkeley National Laboratory where she combines her passions for science and education. She received her undergraduate degree in chemistry from Spelman College. She then went on to Tufts University to obtain her doctorate in Chemistry. She went on to develop educational programs as the Education Coordinator at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Museum before transitioning to Washington, DC as an American Association for the Advancement of Science, Science Technology Policy Fellow. During her time as a Fellow, she served at the National Science Foundation in the Education and Human Resources Directorate. At her current role as the manager of the K-12 STEM education and outreach program she is an advocate for removing barriers and helping students find their way into STEM majors and professions
Outside of the Lab, Dr. Dukes is an avid boxer, podcaster and reader after joining a mixed martial arts gym while in graduate school.
