This episode of Behind the Biz, The Producer's Cut has host Dre Mullen, sitting down and talking with producer Tee Wyla. He has composed numerous works for TV and commercials on networks such as NBC, CBS, ABC, ESPN, VH1, BET, MTV, and more. Since 2002, he has scored music for film, production companies and has worked with media giants such as Viacom. His most notable works include music appearing throughout the NBA Finals, The 2016 Olympics, World Cup, and several BET Award shows throughout the years.
In addition to his successful licensing career, he has released several instrumental projects as well as worked with several hip-hop artists such as Social Club Misfits, Datin, and more. Truth be told, he hasn’t even reached his prime yet. They talk about how he discovered music, him selling beats at the age of 16, how he used school and internships to build his network, and how a moment with Tostitos and salsa and the NBA Finals changed his life.
