In this episode, I speak with Ted Yang (13-time Serial Entrepreneur, Author, MIT Engineer and Recovering hedge fund guy) and Matt Caruso (Director, Corporate Communications, Corporate Reputation and Digital Engagement at KPMG). The three of us went to the same elementary school together (Cherry Lane), and Matt Caruso’s house was right around the corner from mine. After graduating high school, we took separate paths and reunited on the podcast for the first time since we last saw one another as teenagers.
We discuss our impressions of each other when we were in school and how we exemplify the traits we had as children. Growing up, Matt loved game shows, current events and developed his passion for storytelling. Ted always wanted to start companies, even when he was playing games in the classroom. Matt even tells us the story about how his grandfather predicted Ted’s future. We share our insights about what we’ve learned about ourselves, which is that a lot of who we are results from what we dreamt about as kids.
