Luke 24:13-35

Calvary Fellowship Of Ottawa

In this passage, Jesus sure seems to be having a little fun with these two disciples. He’s pretending that he doesn’t know what’s going on, and they don’t recognize him until they stop to rest and eat. Why does the Lord Jesus seemingly pretend? Why is He not recognized until they are eating and resting?
