From the economic hardship seen in the 1970’s, to the eventual repair in the mid and late 1980’s, he saw it all. He tells about achieving one of his life goals from childhood: Buying a house and having a pool table in it. Now a family of 4, and having much bigger responsibilities, Don goes through a series of layoffs along the way, eventually landing a decade-long job at Rust-Oleum.
