Abuse - physical mistreatment but also encompasses sexual and psychological (emotional) mistreatment.
ACEs - Adverse Childhood Experiences.
Pity - a feeling of sorrow and compassion for people who are unhappy, suffering, or otherwise unfortunate or in distress.
