The Food and Wine Festival is starting in just a couple of days, so of course, the foodie guide is out! Some new items, along with returning favorites like the Mickey Mouse Snickers Macaron made the list. - https://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2023/02/disney-eats-foodie-guide-to-the-disney-california-adventure-food-wine-festival-2023/ - https://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2023/02/24/menus-revealed-for-the-2023-disney-california-adventure-food-wine-festival/ The Disney Vacation Club tower at the Disneyland Resort is coming along. This week, Disney showed off a first look at the new guest rooms coming to The Villas at Disneyland Hotel. The 12-story tower will open in September, with themed rooms celebrating Disney animation. There is a size for almost everyone from studios to a two-story, 12-person Grand Villa. - https://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2023/02/the-villas-at-disneyland-hotel-reveal-first-look-at-guest-rooms/ Disneyland After Dark Princess Nites are coming up soon, and the list of activities and food has been posted online. Some of the more elaborate parts of the night will include Tea Service at Cafe Orleans, a cavalcade with Giselle twice per hour starting at 9:15pm, and more! - https://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2023/02/26/everything-coming-to-disneys-new-princess-after-hours-event/ Southern California has been dealing with quite a bit of rainy weather recently, which can impact your day in the parks. If you plan on being in the park during rainy weather, be aware that outdoor attractions can and will close. Examples of these are Goofy's Sky School, Alice in Wonderland, Matterhorn and more. Sometimes the weather is so bad that the park will close early, as happened last week when Disneyland closed an hour early. Earl of Sandwich Tavern is the other section of the old La Brea Bakery that housed the sit down restaurant. The menu has been released for the location, which includes entrees like Prime Rib, Fish Tacos, and Spaghetti and Meatballs, along with starters, soups, salads, sandwiches, and desserts. Unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans and Magic did not happen until Sunday, when the weather allowed for it. The only thing missing was the Princess and the Frog float, which was experiencing technical difficulties, but should return soon. The Orange County Register reported that over 50% of the original cast of the parade returned. - https://www.micechat.com/245353-disneyland-magic-happens-parade/ Along with the return of the parade, there is also the dining package at the Plaza Inn! For $45 per adult, guests can get a short rib and fried chicken with pesto mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables, dessert, and a fountain beverage or water. Rogers the Musical, which was shown in the Disney+ series Hawkeye. The musical was a fictional broadway show inspired by the life of the first Captain America, Steve Rogers.
