Have you ever had a stranger walk up to you in a grocery store make a comment that, on its face, seems offensive to you? Are all those kids yours? Why isn’t that child walking yet? Why does your child look like that? That’s a lot of kids!
If you’re a parent, you’ve more than likely experienced something like this – or you will. So – what do you do? Yell at them. Tell them to get lost. Or refuse to take offense. Look past the awkwardness and see a chance to educate – maybe even brag a little.
