RECAP: Seahawks vs Rams - An offensive debacle
Manage episode 281937550 series 2483169
If Seattle Seahawks fans were expecting the offense to do something different than what we've seen from them in the previous eight weeks, it likely added to the disappointment of the 30-20 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. Even with Jared Goff throwing downfield with a thumb about twice its normal size, he was able to hit on enough big plays to keep the offense moving in addition to the big day from Cam Akers. The Seahawks weren't able to overcome two turnovers, a Russell Wilson interception for a touchdown in the first help helped the Rams to a 17-point second quarter and a fumble by D.J. Reed on a punt return in the fourth doomed the team to just its second exit in the Wild Card round in the Pete Carroll and Russell Wilson era.
