Hey Sis!

The New Year is upon us, and I realized that I needed a little rest and relaxation. So I hope you don’t mind; but instead of a full episode this week, you are getting another devotion from my book.

I decided to go out of order a little. We have been reading from part 4 of the book this month, but I thought it would be a good idea to go back to part 3 today.

Today’s devotion has to do with identity and the danger of comparison. The scripture reference is Galatians 6:4 (AMP).

Sis, do you know how dangerous it is to compare yourself to others. It’s so prevalent today, and most of the time, we don’t even realize we’re doing it. With the entire world at our finger tips we now have billions to compare ourselves to, and that’s not good.

Examine your thoughts about yourself. When you feel that you don’t like something about yourself, is it because you really don’t like it or are you comparing yourself to those that you don’t even know.

I hope you really give your attention to the devotion today and make some changes in this area if you notice it’s a problem for you. Get ready to grow Sis!
