Welcome to the Handwriting & You! Podcast. This is the beginning of an exciting journey where we talk all things handwriting and we launch the very first Handwriting Virtual Awards Ceremony on the 19th January 2021 to honour the World's First Certified Handwriting Specialist Teachers.
Background:
Would any of you consider taking part in a Virtual Awards Ceremony (19th January, 2021, midday BST), to speak for just five minutes about the significance that being able to write has played in your life?
This Virtual Awards Ceremony will be broadcast live to a few hundred thousand schools and a high profile royal has agreed to take part.
Getting you up to speed:
During the first lockdown we donated my Handwriting Assessment Teacher Training, to every school in the UK.
Something pretty amazing happened as a result of that and we had requests from Headteachers throughout the world asking if they too could access it.
We have been inundated with requests for ‘Deep Dives’ with Literacy Teachers and have trained up a significant number of the very first Certified Handwriting Specialist Teachers, in the World.
We are now looking for interesting speakers to take part in our Virtual Awards Ceremony to honour these outstanding teachers and the role that teaching handwriting plays in our lives, creative processes, mindfulness, business, learning, enjoyment, planning, success and even leadership.
Speakers would be required to deliver a five minute talk about their personal success and the role that being able to write has afforded them.
I have already invited a few high profile media personalities to ensure you will be in good company on the day. Hollywood Directors, Famous Authors, Stars, Leaders.
