For our last podcast episode of the dumpster fire that was the year 2020, we are discussing Choices & The Prom from season 3 of Buffy. Such good episodes! It really seems like season 3 truly brought it with the good episodes.
Choices has the scoobies debating normal senior high schooler things like what college to go to and the like. And also gives them unusual choices like "do we keep the weapon that we stole from the Mayor or do we save our friend Willow who will surely be tortured and killed slowly by our deranged exfriend?"
The Prom, oh boy. Our hearts! This episode has Angel breaking Buffy's heart RIGHT BEFORE THE PROM! They all may die at graduation but he finds it important to break up with Buffy before the one normal event(well almost) that she gets to partake in,, The Prom. Dick move Angel. This is the episode where Buffy is acknowledged for all of her life saving work with her pretty umbrella award.
