Ben provides the latest update on Spurs' pursuit of Bayern Munich's Mathys, with the player understood to be Spurs' top target as things stand during this window, the club are also understood to view Noah Okafor from AC Milan as alternative option along with Brentford striker Yoane Wissa, with whom Spurs have contacted the player's representatives.

We also discuss Tottenham's more longer-term targets in Southampton’s 18-year old winger Tyler Dibling, and also fellow Brit and Lille midfielder Angel Gomes, with whom both are understood to interest the club this month with view to signing the duo for the summer.

The panel also discuss the longer-term future of current club captain Heung-Min Son and vice-captain Cristian Romero, on the day where Spurs have granted South Korean teenager Yang Min-Hyeok to leave the club on loan until the end of the season to join Queens Park Rangers.
