The new millennium gets the pay-per-view lineup kicked off by the World Wrestling Federation with the Royal Rumble 2000! And boy, the WWF brought the heat with this one! Last week, we told you how WCW kicked off the new year with Souled Out. Needless to say, this show was 100-times better and much less chaotic. Triple H battled Cactus Jack in a Street Fight for the WWF Title, the New Age Outlaws defend the WWF Tag Titles against the Acolytes, and the Rock tries to establish himself as the top babyface ahead of WrestleMania XVI as Stone Cold Steve Austin is out with a neck injury. This may be the best pay-per-view of the year and was certainly one of the greatest Royal Rumbles in history.
