Much research proved that most boundaries exist only in our minds.
A comfort zone, simply put, is a state or situation where one feels safe and at ease. The anxiety and stress levels are low and a steady level of performance is possible in this zone. According to Alan Henry, the editor in chief of Lifehacker, “Your comfort zone is neither a good or bad thing. It's a natural state that most people trend towards.”
But the problem with the comfort zone is nothing different grows here. If you don’t go beyond your comfort zone, you will never be able to become the person that you aspire to be. Growth and comfort do not co-exist. Sometimes letting go of a comfort zone occurs only when the pain is too great to remain in it.
