Say it Ain't Shohei (Angels Series Recap, 7/22-7/25)
Manage episode 298354330 series 2793221
The Twins drop three of four to the Angels, and fans don't even get to see Shohei Ohtani pitch (though he did hit -- and well). David finds lots to criticize Rocco Baldelli about, especially his management of Game 4, but at least there were some exciting moments in a series that featured three different one-run games. Dan and David wonder about the future of this team regarding Byron Buxton, Jose Berrios and the two Triple-A starters the Twins got in the Nelson Cruz trade. Jake Cave finds himself back on the roster, batting fifth; the Twins squander some good starting pitching performances; and Hansel Robles is nowhere to be found. The boys discuss all that and more, including the new name for the Cleveland baseball club. Thanks for listening!
