The highly anticipated live-action remake of Disney's Mulan is finally here, for one small payment of $30 on Disney+ and opinions are across the board as Rosa Parr and Catherine Gonzales from the Latinx Lens podcast guest on this week's episode. We talk about why the film works in some ways, but falls flat in others. We sing praises (at least someone is singing) for taking the film in a new direction, while also lamenting about how it doesn't hold a candle to the original animated film. In our 0.2 section, Catherine raves about the Boys Season 2, Rosa talks about the powerful Robin Williams documentary, Robin's Wish, and Matti dives into his mixed, but ultimately positive, feelings on Charlie Kaufman's I'm Thinking of Ending Things.
