'An Idle Fellow' is an almost surreal short story or scrap with hidden symbology penned in 1894 or thereabout by American writer Kate Chopin.
This is a story of two boys: one studies books about languages and other is idle. Other boy has one quality, he sees at people's faces and tells about what're their problems etc..
It tries to reinforce the idea that books and knowledge from books is not true wisdom.
