On this episode of Bass Fishing for Noobs, we put on our learning hats and get down and geeky with Aquatic_Biologist, Shan O’Gorman. Shan has been in the business of growing huge bass and making great fisheries for over 20 years! He brings all that knowledge to the Noobs show and teaches how to recognize the difference between a healthy bass, and a stunted bass, and how its weight and length can give us a good idea of the health of the fishery where it was caught.

In this episode, we talk about what makes a good fishery and as an angler how to tell relatively quickly if the place you’re fishing has the possiblity to produce bass in the size you are looking to catch. We also talk a bit about some of the myths of bass fishing, and the facts and falsehoods behind them.
