A self-taught player himself, Rick has developed a coaching style that seems to resonate with players who want to reach their highest potential. He focuses on the process rather than short-term results and feels parents are an important and crucial part of a junior player's tennis journey. Rick sees his role as a tennis coach and also a life coach and understands how to educate parents to be assets to their children throughout the process.
