Me complace compartir esta entrevista con Sergi Gumà, jugador de balonmano del Handbol Esplugues.
Sergi se inició en este deporte a los 8 años y estuvo bajo la disciplina del F.C. Barcelona de Balonmano en categorías inferiores durante 5 años. Estuvo becado 3 años en la Joaquín Blume, un centro de alto rendimiento para deportistas en Esplugues de Llobregat, una ciudad en el extrarradio de Barcelona. Lleva 6 años vistiendo la zamarra del club de Esplugues y logró el ascenso a la División de Plata del balonmano español junto a su equipo la temporada pasada.
En 23 minutos de entrevista nos explica las reglas más básicas del balonmano, su rutina de entrenamiento tanto física como psicológica y nos comparte unos bonitos recuerdos de su época en la Blume. Mas allá del deporte, Sergi estudia un postgrado en la gestión del negocio dentro de la industria musical y tiene bagaje en marketing. Un bon vivant en toda regla, disfruta el compartir con sus amigos, salir de viaje y sobretodo, de la música; si hay un género que considera cercano a su corazón, ese es el rock progresivo, dejándonos el siguiente LP como sugerencia:

I’m pleased to share my interview with Sergi Gumà, Handbol Esplugues’ left-wing.
Sergi started playing handball when he was 8 years-old and has played for F.C. Barcelona’s youths handball team for 5 years. Later on and in his early adolescence, he was given a scholarship at Joaquín Blume’s Institute, a National Center of High Performance Sports located at Espluges de Llogregat, a city on Barcelona’s outskirts. He’s been defending the colours of Handbol Esplugues for 6 years and last season, he helped his team sealing the promotion to the Second Division of Spanish handball.
Do you want to know the most basic handball rules, his training routine (both physical and psychological) and a some curiosities in his time at the Joaquín Blume? This is your interview then. Beyond sports, Sergi is a Music Business Management postgrad student. A bon viveur, he enjoys going out with his friends, travelling but if he’s got to choose a favourite hobby, that would be music. He’s an avid guitar player, progressive rock lover and would like to recommends us all below album:
