His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, Tenzin Gyatso thinks of himself as a simple Buddhist monk. He is in fact, the spiritual leader of Tibet. Here is a short collection of the Dalai Lamas’ thoughts on rules of living. Whether one is a farmer in Tibet, or a business executive in New York, the basic rules of living can be thought of as being the same, even though the manner is different. These words can give us something to ponder, and act upon. I also present a few ideas on how we can incorporate some of these principles into our daily lives.
