Can Heart Centered Empaths Be Successful?

If you identify as being someone that is heart-centered and/or empathic, we're wired a little different. We look at things a little different. We feel a lot. As we discover our purpose, we identify our gifts so we can apply them and get aligned with the things that really matter to us.

What are you good at? What are your skills are and what is your passion? The things that light you up. Where those things intersect....there's your purpose! I remember doing this quiz, way back in the day, about my gifts and one of the gifts was my heart. That I love really big. If I'm perfectly honest, I was kind of bummed out with that gift. Isn't that horrible? But it's the truth. And, you know, it was amongst other gifts too, but that one really was the big one. And I realized I wanted another one. I didn't think it was as good or valuable as other gifts. I didn't think it was gonna get me as far. Eeeks!
A lot of my environment somehow had spoken into me in a way that I felt like, or I assigned meaning to, that that was not a really strong gift... perhaps it was honestly kind of weak. I cringe when I say this out loud now, but I want to talk about this because because maybe you will get something out of me sharing this little piece of my journey if you're wired similarly.
Maybe you need to learn better boundaries and include yourself in your generosity, but if you are hard wired to love big, that is part of your calling. We were sent here to shine and show up in all that we are. And if we show up in the world that way, we can have massive impact, HUGE impact! And when we do what's right for ourself, we also do what's right for everybody else in our influence, in our sphere of people close to us because it is all connected. We are all connected.
