Dr. A.H. Kamal, Dr. Anita Schug and Dr. Hla Kyaw joined the live talk at RVision TV to discuss about Covid-19 and preventive measures that Rohingya refugees should take to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
Ajmeer Omar also hosted Qutub Shah, a religious scholar, to combat misinformation and observe religious practices in due diligence without compromising health in the extremely crowded refugee camps where nearly a million refugees reside.
Six Rohingya refugees have been tested positive for Covid-19 in the camps. The community and healthcare agencies such as Rohingya Medics Organisation are extremely concerned about the outbreak of coronavirus within the camps where there is limited access to healthcare services and a profound difficulty in practising social distance and isolation.
