Dom welcomes in SEPTA Police Chief Chuck Lawson onto the Dom Giordano Program to hear what the new Chief hopes to implement to create a safer environment on Philadelphia’s public transit. First, Dom and Lawson discuss an initiative that’s been making local headlines, a call to ban ‘shiestys,’ the black ski-masks you often see on news reports worn by criminals concealing their identity. Lawson first tells about his history, telling that he’s been a local cop for around 30 years before his ascension to SEPTA Chief, explaining how he hopes to use his experience.
