CC Sabathia Previews His HBO Documentary "Under The Grapefruit Tree" With Brad Blanks

Brad Blanks caught up with New York Yankees legend, CC Sabathia!

CC has a documentary on his life coming out December 22nd! It covers his success as a pitcher, winning a world series with the Yankees in 2009 and his troubles with drinking, including a dark period in his life with alcohol. At one point CC says he stood continuously drunk in between starts which forced him into rehab in 2015.

He also talks about throwing those grapefruits as a kid and his Grandmother knowing he was going to be a baseball player!

“UNDER THE GRAPEFRUIT TREE: THE CC SABATHIA STORY” debuts December 22nd at 9pm on HBO and will be available to stream on HBO Max!

CC is also making his debut as a special commentator December 18th during the Brooklyn Nets pre-season basketball game!
