Did you know that it is perfectly fine if you don’t go to college, don’t want to go to college, or even if you fail out of college? That’s right; there’s no social book stating that you should go to college or be good at it.
In this episode, we discuss why going to college is not mandatory and you shouldn’t feel inferior if you don’t do it. It’s not the end of the world if you don’t go to college, I have been in and out of college for ten years, and I’m not ashamed of it since it’s been a learning journey.
A college diploma is just a piece of paper representing your discipline which can easily be represented by something else you stuck with the same amount of time.
I have failed college many times, which has taught me the valuable lesson of rising up after every fall. If you fail or have failed before, remember that you’re not alone. Stop comparing, college is not for everyone and most importantly, we all have unique experiences. It is a personal journey that you get to either choose or not.
Keep in mind that the things we like come naturally to us while we tend to struggle with what we don’t like. Be your own person and don’t allow anyone or college to define who you are.
Understand that no rule book says what is right or wrong with how you choose to live your life. Take your time, be happy, and don’t let pressure!
