VERY excited about this one because I'm such a massive fan of this DJ/Producer and this was a really fun interview as well. Hope ya'll are ready to go "Freak Mode" with my man @freakonmusic ! I caught up with Vinnie last week while he was in LA and had such a blast getting his full story. 🎙 In episode 155 we discussed: •Early days in electronic music: Vinnie grew up just outside Portland, OR and was raised with music always playing in the house but it wasn't until his teen years until he discovered electronic music. Although the OR dance music scene is smaller, the community he was surrounded by inspired him to pursue a career in music and chase his dream 🤩 •Discography: Although "Freak On" started in 2018, Vinnie has been producing for years and he's already had so much success in a short period of time. Some of his biggest tracks include "Be Your Lova" with @bingewatchmusic on @sinkorswimofficial , "Nitrous EP" on @hoodpoliticsrecords , "THICCC" with @drfresch on @dimmak and so many more. He also is a SoundCloud kid at heart and has put out some incredible remixes - I download every single one.... HEAT! 🔥 •Production Process and Style: Throughout the discography portion, we picked apart how Freak found inspiration on each track. He utilizes custom templates that help lay the foundation to build ideas quickly and also go outside the box while maintaining his sound. Lots of great nuggets for any house music producers out there! 📝 •Future plans: Vinnie kept the ball rolling in 2020 with releases and has so MUCH stacked for the rest of this year. He's positioned himself as one of the biggest up and comers in house music (big shout to @metatonemgmt )and is ready to get back to doing shows ASAP.
