It’s important that we don’t let this world squeeze us into its mold… The world system is conditioning us to want everything easier and faster, but the Lord works on a very different timetable. Waiting reveals our lack of control and helps us understand that the Lord is in charge, and we aren’t…. It helps us give up our ideas of His perfect timing and actually wait for what His perfect timing is….

Psalms 121:3-4
3 He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber.
4 Behold, He who keeps Israel Shall neither slumber nor sleep.
James 1:3-4
3 ...knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.
4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

Psalms 31:14-15
14 But as for me, I trust in You, O LORD; I say, “You are my God.”
15 My times are in Your hand; Deliver me from the hand of my enemies, and from those who persecute me.
