Ted Weiss is Professor of Nutrition and Dietetics at Saint Louis University, and an expert on health, longevity and fitness. His research spans nutrition and exercise for weight loss, the prevention of diabetes and CVD, the slowing of primary aging, and nutrition for optimizing physical performance. One of the key topics in Ted's research is the concept of acid load, and its effects on health and endurance. Ted is also a keen cyclist and tries to actively apply his research findings to his own body.
