This week we welcome one of my comedy mentors and someone who pushed me out of my comfort zone, Dwayne Perkins. Dwayne has two Dry bar comedy specials and his first special "Take Note" was a top special on Netflix.
Dwayne has made appearances on Conan, Comedy Central, and as a regular correspondent on The Jay Leno Show. In August 2012, he was selected by Rolling Stone magazine as one of their "Five Comics to Watch"
His book "Hot Chocolate For The Mind" is amazing and a fun read. He changed the trajectory of my career with his insightful advice and guidance. I am hoping you all will learn something and his words in this episode will change your comedy career.
