The focus of this episode is Venture Capital in the Gulf region of the Middle East. Shailesh starts with his interpretation of what is meant by Venture Capital and in particular in the context as accepted by this part of the world.
As Shailesh explains "Venture capital in common terms was defined as capital which went on to fund startups - those which had a long term growth potential. I think it’s a uniquely American process which we have adopted and one which basically combines risk capital with entrepreneurial management and advanced technology in order to produce or create new products, new companies, etc."
