Episode 577

Hour 1:

New Facebook likes. The host kicks things off talking about some guests he has coming up for next week (Neil Berliner and R. Scott Edwards), he then discusses feedback he received on last week's episode. A listener saying The Eagles blow results in the host replaying "Stewie Reacts - The big Lebowski" from "the Starving Artist" track 1, as the dude character didn't like the band. Stewie gives the host crap for giving movie trivia during the show, then sarcastically congratulates him on trying a hot pocket, wonders what the host has coming up to mark this milestone. Sports - Jim Rome gets dumb feedback about football. Nate in Kansas with a dumb horse wisecrack, ends up yelling at fish guy in his office, Rome lays down some ground rules. Tampa bay Lightning update. The host gripes about potato girl at the Chiefs game. It's been 25 years since Clinton first denied his relationship with Monica Lewinsky, this leads into a new offering, "Stewie Reacts - The Clinton Confession". George Santos news, followed by another new offering called "Santos Acres", Stewie thinks the host should watch more modern TV shows. The host wonders why we're helping out Ukraine, then talks about politicians leading us into new wars, "Vladimir Putin's Olympic Letter" from "The Starving Artist", track 21 goes into the interlude.

Hour 2:

The host comments on why a certain song isn't on the chopping block for cancel culture. Veterans getting help with MDMA. The host plays Edward R. Murrow's account of Buchenwald, as January 27th is International Holocaust Remembrance Day. Blind justice - the creator of Rick and Morty is in hot water, teacher who was shot by 6 year-old in Virginia is suing the school, the host wonders why the parents aren't on the hook for irresponsible gun ownership. Alabama getting rid of a landmark rocket. Trump has been let back on Facebook, "The Facebook Wall" from "The Blind Man Cometh" track 15, and "Insane In The Trump Brain" from "The Starving Artist" track 14 are played. The host thanks Eddie and the guys from The Ham Radio Show for playing his stuff, an excerpt where the guys express their gratitude. The Covid vaccine could be a once a year thing, followed by "Yesterday (Covid-19 Version)" from "The Blind Man Cometh" track 24. Wild turkey is loose in a neighborhood, a clip from "South Park" where Chef makes a "Braveheart" style speech. The show closes with "Hot Pockets" from Jim Gaffigan.
