Welcome to our fourth Sheep Chat! This week we're excited to chat with Lexie Hain, co-founder of the American Solar Grazing Association.

Lexie Hain is co-founder of the American Solar Grazing Association. A farm owner in New York State since 2005, Lexie started with a small homestead and transitioned to owner and operator of a specialty plant nursery for ten years. After selling the business in 2015, she transitioned to solar grazing with sheep. By 2020 the grazing business included 5 solar companies as clients and she co-founded the American Solar Grazing Association (ASGA) in 2018. ASGA is a not for profit with the goal of promoting best practices in solar grazing. ASGA is the originator of the solar site mapping tool: connecting farmers with solar companies (map.solargrazing.org) launched May 2020.
