Manage episode 449085514 series 3613961
What you say and do in an interview can either close the deal or take you out of the running.
There are plenty of programs and organizations that help with interview preparation. And there is a case one could make that every person you interview with is looking for a different style or method – BUT there are some things you SHOULD do and SHOULD NOT do in an interview – and today we are going to unpack this very topic with a Marine Corps Veteran who serves in Human Resources in a global company.
There’s a scene in the Matt Damon Robin Williams movie Goodwill Hunting where Ben Affleck is sitting in on an interview for Matt Damon’s character telling the interviewers they are suspect, slouching in his chair, and being over-confident – but the scene works in his favor.
