With all the personal development information out there we are constantly being bombarded with new information about how to live a life with purpose, but are we actually getting any closer?
I was the queen of consumption when it came to personal development. But that's where it stopped. I'd consume. Take notes. Implement here and there. And nothing was happening.
Well, maybe not nothing, but I for sure wasn't seeing the massive transformation I had expected.
Here's the deal. If you want personal development to work and help you create a lifestyle change (or many), you have to work. And you have to be honest with yourself about how you're really doing.
In my experience, we either think we are 100% nailing life and we would say 10s all across the board...or we swing to the other extreme and totally beat ourselves up.
For the rest of us, we have been so busy treating water, we don't even know what our best life would actually look like.
