Hey friends, welcome, welcome.
I am thankful to have had the opportunity to record another episode. I am so thankful for you too. We aren't meant to go through life alone, and I'm blessed by our community.
Today, I'm going to share how and why we should give to God from our lack, instead of our plenty. I will also talk about how we can relax and feel peace as we come to understand our insufficiency. When it comes to God, He truly welcomes us as we are... broken and flawed sinners. In fact, that is where we are most safe, broken before God.
Being broken doesn't have to mean you are in a time of crisis (it can, of course) but it's not exclusive to any particular event. Being broken is more about not hiding who you are from God while at the same time not being content to stay in the same place, all while accepting your humanity with grace.
