Have Faith

When things in life don’t go as we expect, people sometimes respond with statements like, “just believe” or “just have faith” or “just trust.” While those sound nice, they’re also a little vague and unhelpful. Believe what? Have faith in what? Trust what? How do any of those solve the current situation? It’s almost like we’re told to have faith in faith, and if we do that, we can move mountains. But what does that even mean, and how do we have a faith that is capable of making a difference?
