Wheeling Wine and Whiskey continues with more King of the Hammers coverage! This week the boys bring you an interview with the only rookie driver in the 4400 class to finish the race within time.
Aaron Smith brought his Bomber race car from the big state of Texas to test it and himself in the toughest one day off-road race in the world! He was smart though and brought an experienced KOH driver into the cab. None other, than the world renowned Kevin “Ultra4Jones” Jones joined the team to be his experienced co-driver.
You get to hear how this relationship/friendship came to be and how Kevin Jones’ knowledge of Johnson Valley became critical to their success during the week. Aaron is a great driver and coupled with his and Kevin’s attention to details shows. It was not an easy day for the pair of racers, but they stuck it out and overcame all the challenges to cross the finish line.
