We are certain to be in need of forgiveness, and to forgive others, and Jesus knew this because He spoke about it a lot!
Love is not just a feeling or an emotion, but an active verb. In 1 John 3, God calls us to a sacrificial love that cares for people in practical ways. In humility, Jesus himself gave up His status to love us. We are called to do likewise, both among people of faith and to the wider world.
