Lets face it, being gay in today's world is getting, well a bit easier than it was back in the Harvey Milk "era." However, we as Americans and as Humans have such a long way to go, to learn how to love without conditions. What does that statement mean? Loving without conditions? Meaning; I love you Unconditionally. It means, love does not exist in general unless it is unconditional. Period. Sit back and listen to an episode that was not only hard to write and pre-plan but was very hard to talk about for me. An episode that might be a bit controversial for some discussing the topic about why so many people who Identify as L.G.B.T.Q.+ as do I, have a struggle with having faith or spirituality . Coming out when I was 16 I struggled with finding where I belonged in the gay community. There was not only judgment in the straight community but also in the gay community. To look a certain way, dress a certain way and oh don't forget to love shopping. Although I do kinda love shopping still. Being gay and loving a man is not who I am but just a part of who I am.
