This weeks episode features Ed Daley and Co. A great Mix of musicians playing Ed's original tunes. I was joined again this week by my good friend Mike Hollis. On this Episode we discussed many things like what the bathroom situation at snugs is. Maybe its aliens on the back patio. you know the regular stuff. Ed and the Crew came through and played some great tunes. I messed up the band name a few times during the episode so for the record their name is Doc Edison and The Good Time Machine. They are based in the Hudson valley and play an eclectic mix of classic rock and danceable tunes that are sure to get your booty shaking. Ed came on to promote some shows him and a few of his other groups like Snow bear have coming up. If you are in New Paltz be sure to try and catch Ed performing with one of his many bands. Or just stop in to snugs and you will most likely be able to catch him. All great guys in this band. Thanks so much for tuning in and staying up on these Episodes. The next couple of weeks I will be on tour with my band Lara Hope and the Arktones. So I will be releasing episodes that I already recorded like CFR and Dwayne Mark and CO. Im really happy to be bringing such great music to you from the Hudson Valley. This episode also features two songs by me, the first one you year on the episode is called T-shirt. and the Last one is called Tension. The other track that is featured is by my band Rukumbine Called In spite of me. Rukumbine just released an EP. its all available on all streaming platforms and if you see us live you can pick up a real copy of the CD. We recorded it at Soulflow Studios. It was produced, mixed and edited by us here at Soul flow so I hope you enjoy that. Please check it out and let us know what you think. Stay Tuned, Stay True. This weeks episode features the always entertaining and very talented singer, songwriter, chef, story teller Seth Davis . Him and his partner have been the leading and longest lasting fully vegan restaurant in New Paltz NY called Karma Road. I've seen Seth perform his music on many occasions and I was really excited to get him in the studio to share his Life story and how he became a songwriter. I also invited my uncle Tim Verderosa to Join us. Him and Seth are friends and I felt that it would be great to have him in the studio and chime in with some stories and words of wisdom. I really hope you all enjoy this episode. Please check out Seth's music @ http://www.sethdavis.com/home.html you can find him on youtube. he's got music videos and videos of live performances. This episode features the wonderfully talented Ami Madeleine . She is a singer/ songwriter who currently resides in Rosendale NY. She performs consistently in the area and is always setting up shows and connecting fellow musicians. She writes original music that is very pleasant to listen to and will make you feel like you want her to lull you into a gentle, hazy, dream-like reverie. Also a familiar voice joins me. My friend Mike Hollis , whom I interviewed on EP: 6 of this season, will be helping me with the podcast. He's going to be joining me in co-hosting and managing the engineering aspect of the show to free me up so i can focus and ask better questions and not be worried about making everything sound just right. I included one of NCM's more popular songs in the intro called Apples. Just in time for apple picking season. We performed it live at The Arrowood outpost in New Paltz about a year ago. Ive been In NCM for over 10 years now. We are in the process of recording a new album. Also My band Rukumbine is used in the intro as well. We are just about to release our self titled EP on Friday September 27th at Heritage food and drink in Wappingers Falls NY. Check all that business out @ https://www.facebook.com/Rukumbine/ I was on a short break while I was touring and thinking of ways to rehash the old format and I hope you enjoy the show. This Episode also features a recap of the Woodstock 50th anniversary weekend and how jam packed it all was for me. I also decided to throw one of my brother's songs on the intro. We recorded it at my studio a while back, its called slippin. He's an awesome song writer and keeps writing more and more music everyday. Check him out @ https://www.jkainemusic.com/. I sprinkled some live tracks from the 5678's in there as well and at the end I added one of my own tracks at the end. Let me know what you think. This episode went way longer than 1 hour but I couldn't edit out some of the gold here. these guys were really great guests and we had a lot of fun. Its really awesome to be part of such a great community of musicians and I'm finding out that I'm not the only one that feels like we are lacking in the conversation department. I'm discovering that lots of musicians want to learn more about each other and this isn't an unusual circumstance. so please join me in finding more out about my friends in this and all upcoming episodes.
